Internship / volunteer positions
Interships offer a “real world” job experience in a related field of study, and have a strong, positive impact on the community, in a, win-win situation! Roles and responsibilites include teaching introduction level pro software applications, photography and video production to adults, and assisting students with their assigned tasks in a lab setting. The total length of internship service hours for the semester: to be agreed upon by your university's department head and J-Curve. J-curve will complete paper work with the University so the fulfillment of the internship will equal 3 upper division units of credit.
Who Qualifies:
junior and senior college students majoring in: digital technology/computer science, film, animation, communications, marketing, or a related field.

Adult short course instructor (paid)
Room for advancement. * Qualifying interns may teach adult short courses upon their university instructor’s approval as a paid intern. $10 per hour to start Teaching Hours for Adult short courses/Lab M-F 9-3 To apply email Resume and Cover letter to:

Technology / student lab coach (volunteer)

Paid staff positions:
JCurve is currently seeking professionals in their technology based field also credentialed, or certificated teachers interested in teaching one or more software applications such as but not limited to: Microsoft office suite – word, power point, access, excel and Mac version keynote pages, numbers etc, In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, adobe CS3 suite for web, AutoCAD, Pro Tools, After Effects, Photography, Video Production, Final Draft, Animation "Blender" and Final Cut Pay $20-45/hour depending on experience and credentials Hours: Flexible, part time

Additional Information
Finger printing: Instructors working with any underage students must be fingerprinted. -cost $55 * Instructors may bring verification of fingerprints passing the life-scan background check from their HR department.
